Kraft, matte or gloss: choosing a finish
A finish is not a quality — it is behaviour: what light does to the surface, and what the surface does to the product it sits on.

A finish is not a quality. It is behaviour. Gloss bounces light, matte absorbs it, kraft shows its fibre. The right choice depends on where the label will live and how it will be seen.
Gloss: the colour that catches
A gloss BOPP film bounces light and saturates colour. In a product photo a gloss label reads from across the room; on a shelf it catches the eye. In exchange, it shows fingerprints.
This is the finish for dry products and parcels — for objects looked at before they are touched.
Matte: the surface that takes it
A matte white vinyl bounces almost no light: the text stays readable from any angle, the surface shows no marks, and it resists water.
This is the finish for bottles, pouches and anything that lives in a kitchen, a workshop or a fridge.
Kraft: the fibre you can see
Kraft is not an ink colour, it is a material: the paper's fibre stays visible under the print, and that is what gives a parcel its workshop look. It sits well with stamps, twine and cards from the same family.
One question decides it
Where will the label live? Dry, and looked at: take gloss. Water, or read up close: take matte. The parcel itself is the decoration: take kraft.

Which label format for which product?
Round, rectangular or barcode strip: the format follows the surface you label and what the label must carry — not the catalogue page.
